Love So Big 🐾

This week, friends and I were able share at length with each other just how much we love our dogs. It’s beautiful to talk with a like minded person, who understands just how incredible that love is. ❤️

After Life (streaming on Netflix), starring Ricky Gervais, recently concluded its third season. Happy yet sad, often outrageous, one thing is clear: a man mourning the loss of his wife has one reason and one reason only, to get out of bed every morning. His beloved dog. The study of grieving by an impossible man, whose pain is comforted — albeit by the few lovely people around him — through the love he has for his dog. 🤗

Anyone with a pet in their life knows. 🐾

I myself, had no idea. As a mom, wife, daughter, teacher, sister, still my heart didn’t know this depth. 🤍

Comfort every single day. Hugs, kisses, sheer unadulterated joy. Them, at our sheer existence, and us at theirs. It’s the most selfless love there is. 🤗

We are lucky when we can find love so big in this world. 🌎
